On the Chemspec Europe stand at Interclean this year, visitors will see new products and equipment in addition to the established range of carpet and upholstery cleaning solutions. The new Cleaning Equipment Division will have, on display, the 494 dual wand carpet cleaning machine; one of a range which includes the 860 Truck-mount. It has hot water at pressures up to 3000 psi (190 bar) (using stainless steel heat exchangers) at distances up to 1200 feet (365 metres), supporting two, or even three wands at 500 (150 metres) or 350 feet (110 metres), respectively. Also being promoted at the show is a new, environmentally friendly product, which is biodegradable, has a cleaning technology that uses 100% natural ingredients, is safe around hypersensitive individuals and really works. Developed in Canada, ECOgent meets the new and very strict Environmental ChoiceM Criteria PRC-097, Cleaning Products with low Potential for Environmental Illness and Endocrine disruption. ECOgent is used in a range of different dilutions according to the task in hand. It can be used on virtually any material, floors, laundry, toilets and urinals, carpet cleaning, spotting and maintenance. Also being featured, Chemspec Europe offers a vast range of fire and flood restoration chemicals and equipment and is now the exclusive source for the Unsmoke and Microban ranges of specialised cleaning and odour control chemicals throughout Europe.
