Pakawaste has provided Tamworth Borough Council with a bespoke solution for baling cardboard waste and plastic bottles.

The company adapted a standard Powerkube XL machine to assist with the ambitious house waste recycling programme. By careful redesigning of the machine, the council can now house cardboard and plastic bottles to be baled in the same machine with the minimum of changeover time. Introduction of a sliding hopper and plastic bottle piercing attachment enables staff to monitor requirements and change in seconds from baling cardboard waste to plastic bottles.
