Dirt beaters
October 1st 2005

Kim and Aggie, the house-proud presenters of How Clean is Your House? can be seen using customised Sebo Felix vacuum cleaners in a trailer for the new series.

The Felix range is said to be both hard working and easy-to-use. A flat-to-the-floor design enables the machines to scoot under furniture with ease. The vacuum cleaner has S-Class, three-stage filtration system for allergy sufferers.

Described as a mini-vacuum in disguise, the suction unit can be detached from the power head and the Felix is transformed into a lightweight, powerful suction unit suitable for cleaning stairs, car interiors or upholstery.

Spray-on lining

Bristol City Council's pest control services and dog warden department has upgraded the protection of each of its new vans and uses Speedliner spray-on lining to give a hard-wearing, easyto- clean interior.

Vans are plywood-lined including the bulkhead, and are hermetically sealed with the Speedliner van lining in a stock light grey colour, before being fitted with tailor-made racking at Van Extras, where a roof vent is also fitted.

The spray-on truck bed liner system has a tensile strength of up to 4900PSI and its cut and tear resistance can be further enhanced with the addition of Kevlar fibre.

The product's anti-slip properties can be improved with aggressive/grit or rubber crumb additives.

Speedliner has low VOC content, good resistance to UV and chemical attack and comes in 18 colours.

Richard Bevan, manager of pest control services, says the lining prevents internal damage and corrosion and is easy to wash down.
