Clearing the air
August 1st 2004 Roydon Mill Leisure Park in Essex has excellent camping and caravanning facilities and motel catering for a large number of visitors throughout the year, many of whom are attracted by the water sports available on the 40 acres lake in the grounds. Park Manager Tom Davison had the persistent and irritating problem of bad odours from the urinals both in the Clubhouse and the large Shower Blocks. The frequent application of urinal blocks masked the smell on a temporary basis but did nothing to cure the source. He tried the Sani-sleeve system developed and patented by Enviro-Fresh in the offending toilets and is delighted with the result. We have lost that stale urine odour completely. he reports.
The system consists of a Sani-sleeve tube that is inserted into the urinal waste outlet and extends down below the water level in the trap. This topped by a cap containing a deodourising block with a pleasant citrus smell. The unit is replaced every 3 months and leads to less flushing therefore saving water.
