Clean entrance

The Frontrunner entrance flooring system from Plastic Extruders has been installed for refurbished circular door entrances at IFDS in Laindon, Essex.

A matting was needed that could be cut and curved easily for on site fitting.As the entrance is very exposed, a scraper and weatherproof area were also required.This was achieved with the 100% PVC Frontrunner.Dirt falls through its open grid design.

The inner part of the doorway was fitted with Frontrunner Plus, a similar matting but one that incorporates absorbent inserts.

Shoe soles are now scraped, dried and cleaned as each visitor takes several steps through the entrance.

As the Frontrunner matting has inherent flexibility and is relatively light, it is said to contour over any uneven substrate.
