Brushing up on vehicle cleaning
August 1st 2005

When new waterboard regulations on drainage forced DTS logistics manager, John Butler, to stop cleaning the New Look clothing trucks on site, he had no option but to seek an alternative.

And after checking out a few alternatives, it was Junction 1’s quality cleaning results, commitment to service and friendly staff which enabled them to gain and maintain New Look’s business.

Most impressive to John is the fact that each cab is cleaned by hand; steps, wheel arches, around the mirrors, down the back; before actually passing through the gantry wash. And it’s the Vikan Transport Systemrange of brushes which help Junction 1 achieve the desired results. Built for durability and rough handling, Vikan’s ergonomically designed, easy to handle brushes are soft, pliable and most important, don’t scratch the paintwork. Two or three different waterfed brushes with up to 20 foot microscopic poles provide easy cleaning access to the coach top, back and sides.
