Banking on major success
July 1st 2005

London-based contract cleaning and facilities management company, LCC Support Services, has won a major contract that takes its turnover to in excess of £10m.

With immediate effect, LCC will be cleaning 530 Lloyds TSB Southern Region buildings. The premises, which include offices and many high street banks, will be maintained on an ‘Output Specification’ basis, a flexible system that will ensure buildings are constantly maintained to a high specification, not based on each task being carried out on a specific day.

The contract involves transferring 700 staff from the incumbent five cleaning companies and will involve more daytime cleaning. Bob vincent, md, comments, “Our clients understand the need to ensure its customers enjoy high standards of cleanliness throughout the day. As well as addressing this and the obvious health and safety benefits to the lone worker, our staff are enjoying the opportunity to achieve a better work/life balance.”
