There's a wipe in my bucket
August 1st 2009 The Tork Handy Bucket and smaller packs of plastic-wrapped wipers are among the
latest dispensing formats from SCA Tissue Europe
Tork Premium Precision Cleaning cloths – designed to be strong
and ultra low-linting for particle-sensitive applications – are
now supplied in the Tork Handy Bucket.The system comprises a
dry roll of cloths supplied in a resealable bucket,
which can be filled with any detergent or
disinfectant.
The system avoids the health and safety
risks of carrying open buckets of
disinfectant, while the tightly-sealed lid
prevents the wipers from drying out
before use. Each Handy Bucket contains
250 sheets measuring 28cm X 17.5cm,
and the bucket holds four litres of
detergent or disinfectant.
Designed for surface cleaning are Tork
surface cleaning wet wipes which also
come in the Handy Bucket.They have been
dermatologically tested to be safe to use on
the hands.
The wipers are effective against oil, grease
and paint and are particularly suitable for use in mobile and site
maintenance environments.There is also a hand-wiping version
available.
SCA Tissue Europe has also recently launched compact packs of
multipurpose non-woven wipers Tork Premium 530, 520 and 510.
The 32cm X 39cm wipers are designed for cleaning, wiping and
polishing tasks and are suitable for mobile engineers and smaller
workstations where there is insufficient space for a wall-mounted
dispenser. Each pack gives out only one cloth at a time to control
consumption, and the plastic wrapping of the packs helps to prevent
product contamination.
Tork Premium Multipurpose 530 wipes come in compact packs
containing 45 cloths.The wipes are highly absorbent and sufficiently
bulky to cope with heavy-duty tasks with solvents.
Tork Premium 520 combines softness with good absorption, while
Tork Premium 510 is suitable for basic light-duty tasks. Both these
wipers are available in compact packs containing 55 wipers.
