No need to wash – just go August 1st 2009 The Evolon 170 cloth from Vileda Professional promises microfibre technology at a
competitive price, without the need for laundry
Evolon 170 cloth is a 'next generation'product made from
Microfilament microfibres that claim to be six times finer than
traditional microfibres, penetrating deeper into surfaces to give
a powerful cleaning performance.
"Cleaning contractors want microfibre performance, but often the
requirement to launder microfibres after use has limited the sites that
contractors can use these products in," says Steve Barber,Vileda
Professional's regional marketing manager."Evolon 170 meets market
demand for a high performance cloth at a competitive price that
doesn't necessarily require laundry."
The 'endless fibre' technology that produces the microfilament
microfibres in Evolon 170 creates a light and – thanks to its isotropic
construction – very strong product. In performance terms this delivers
a cloth that's durable, quick to dry and, if required, can be laundered
up to 50 times. It has excellent absorption and – compared to
traditional microfibres – even lower levels of linting.
Evolon 170 ticks green boxes too and has achieved the ISO 14001
international environmental management standard. No solvents are
used in the manufacturing of microfilaments and when compared to
traditional textile production, microfilaments require less water and
fewer raw materials too. In fact all the water used during the
entanglement process is recycled within the factory. And because the
Evolon 170 is machine washable, there's less waste heading for landfill
sites.
"The Evolon 170 is priced very competitively" says Barber."But it
sells itself on much more than price – Evolon 170 sells itself on
performance too and we believe it
sets a new industry benchmark." More articles from Vileda Professional: |
