The height of training April 1st 2010 When RCS staff required Work at Height Training,IMPACT43 was happy to help
Regular Cleaning Services (RCS) staff recently attended a
Working at Height Awareness Training Day run by the
IMPACT43 Group. High level window cleaning training has a
vital role in what is viewed as a potentially dangerous working
environment.
"We have always taken training seriously," comments Michael
Darmanin, regional operations manager for RCS (pictured).
"We spent some considerable time examining potential training
providers. We needed people who could work with us and embrace
the RCS ethos of safety and customer service."
That examination resulted in RCS placing its business with South
Thames College incorporating Merton College.
"One important factor in our choice was the fact that the High
Level Window Cleaning Training would be delivered by Andrew Willis,
a senior partner with IMPACT43 Group," says Darmanin."We were
delighted to learn he was involved, because he's regarded as one of
the countries most experienced working at height consultants."
IMPACT has the National Service Contract to deliver the muchtalked-
about City and Guilds NVQ level 2, and claims to have 'some of
the most dynamic training modules currently available, including
Working at Height'.
Andrew Willis says that securing the RCS training business was very
important to IMPACT.
"RCS has many prestigious contracts with some highly experienced
window cleaners," says Willis.
"It's my job to deliver the latest safety-related information to their
window cleaners and to present it in an interesting way that enables
them to enjoy the whole training process."
