Water for water-feds everywhere February 1st 2007 Aquafactors Tucker Pole is showing its
latest improved water access products on
Stand L30 at The Cleaning Show
Two new products will be promoted at the Cleaning Show, by
Aquafactors Tucker Pole (Stand B26), in addition to the Pennel
clamping system delayed from last year. Both products
'improve access'by enabling water to be readily available almost
anywhere that a water fed pole may be used. Enclosed courtyards,
confined areas Particularly those away from access roads and
windows set back at high level are typical of
the problems that water fed pole users face.
Water is required in volume and running
hoses long distance is often not an option.
The problems have led to a number of
mobile 'mini'water systems being developed.
However, not all have been successful with
criticisms about low water carrying capacity,
complexity, size and weight. Realising the
downsides of such products,Aquafactors Tucker Pole, has not rushed
into competing in this sector. However, recent customer requests, to
meet certain criteria, have highlighted needs, which the company felt
it could address better than the competition. The result is a 'mini'
trailer system and a hand cart / trolley system.
Two types of end user have been identified. The first are operators
of hotels, residential homes and other large buildings wanting to use
their own maintenance personnel. In several instances the need has
been for a system capable of being manoeuvred through a building,
up in a lift, along corridors and onto a flat roof to clean penthouse
windows. The second type of user is the window cleaning contractor
having similar difficulties, but often wanting to bring water to site in a
trailer and use it from the same equipment.
The Aquafactors trolley/cart system meets this
demand in several ways.Carrying 360 litres of
water, it's not a small system – but it is able to go
through a standard doorway. It has its own
battery power supply, pump and 20m retractable
hose reel. The water treatment implications are
kept 'simple' with an onboard deioniser. The tank
is based on the company's thermo crafted, baffled
unit, used with all its mobile systems. It is totally
impervious to light and both strong and lightweight. Large tyres
make handling easy and the cart is braked.
The Aquafactors 300 litre 'mini' trailer system is the smallest towable
trailer produced by the company.Designed around a single axle galvanised
trailer the system is aimed at both domestic and commercial window
cleaning businesses needing equipment that can be easily manhandled
into areas where larger trailers
would be difficult to manoeuvre. More articles from Aquafactors Direct Limited: |
