Ship shape for HM October 1st 2010 When the Queen and her royal
party set off on their recent 10-
day Scottish islands cruise
aboard the small but superluxurious
Hebridean Princess,
the vessel was more than just
ship-shape. It was spotless, and
several of the key cleaning
materials used were supplied by
The Windowclean Centre.
The glass clearing agent
'Crystal Clear 550' used on the
glass was so effective that the
Daily Mail reported that 'board
games and a 1000-piece jigsaw
were spotted through the
windows of the ship as it set sail.'
In addition to glass clearing
agent,The Windowclean Centre
supplied the operators of the
Hebridean Princess with poles,
tools and other equipment used
to get the 30-cabin ship in truly
royal condition.
"We were delighted to be
approached by the ship's
owners,"says The Windowclean
Centre's Darrell Chalkley."I knew
they would perform excellently
on the Hebridean Princess ? even
though she must sometimes
experience some pretty fierce
weather.
"I don't think we've supplied
products to a more luxurious enduser,"
adds Chalkley.
The Queen's cruise ? during
which the 60th and 50th
birthdays of Princess Anne and
Prince Andrew were celebrated
? ended when Capt.Michael
Hepburn brought the 2112-ton
ex-Caledonian MacBrayne ferry
into harbour on August 2nd. More articles from The Window Clean Centre: |
