Cardiff-based firm, LaddersFree, has compiled a database of window cleaning companies that only use water-fed poles - and puts forward local contractors for every job Cardiff-based provider of national window cleaning management services, LaddersFree, gives customers access to The National Register of Ladderless Window Cleaners - meaning that customers that approach the company get to choose from window cleaners which meet its own water-fed pole-based criteria.

The company operates the database and vets all members to ensure customers receive a consistent standard of window cleaning throughout UK premises. As LaddersFree members don't subcontract work to any third parties, the company says it can continuously monitor both service levels and health and safety compliance.

It awards a 'Certificate of Registration' to companies that meet its criteria for window cleaning services using water fed poles. LaddersFree says it has produced this certificate to reduce 'red tape' for customers and that it replaces a number of requirements to obtain customary documentation before awarding a contract - therefore ensuring certified members are ahead of the competition.

Aimed at national organisations with a number of UK-wide premises, as well as shops, offices, schools, universities, airports and council buildings, LaddersFree's service uses available local contractors for all jobs. Under the system, the customer only pays for the cost of window cleaning and not the contractors travel expenses.

The customer also benefits from one payment point for window cleaning services at multiple, national sites - instead of having to deal with several regional contractors.
