A prize for surface sanitising December 1st 2009 Byotrol, an anti-microbial
technology that includes a range
of surface cleaners and hand
sanitisers, has been awarded the
Best New Product at the annual
Society of Food
Hygiene &
Technology
(SOFHT) Awards.
At the awards, on
26 November 2009,
SOFHT judges
acknowledged that
Byotrol's sanitisation
properties could dramatically
improve hygiene within food
manufacturing, preparation and
retail environments.
Byotrol uses water based micro
polymer technology which forms
an invisible layer on any surface,
be it workstations, human hands
or a factory floor to offer long
lasting protection. It protects
against bacteria and viruses,
including those that cause food
poisoning, as well as
swine flu and MRSA.
Even after drying, it
continues to work
for hours.Yet
Byotrol is so safe it
would not cause
harm even if
ingested, suiting it
for use across the food industry.
The products do not contain
alcohol, and, according to Bytorol
the range is the first of its kind to
have received Halal approval. More articles from Byotrol: |
