Tap-water ioniser is activated

Activeion's ionised water cleaning tool, the ionatorEXP,has won the Product of the Show Award at SHOP 2010.

The Activeion ionator EXP is one of Europe's first handheld chemical-free tap-water ioniser. The ionised water that sprays out when you squeeze the trigger has been proved to kill an estimated 99.9% of common bacteria plus the H1N1 Type A 2009 swine 'flu virus on hard non-porous surfaces.

When the trigger is pressed, tap water passes through a water cell that applies a small electrical charge, ionising the water, after which it goes through an ion-exchange membrane.

The temporarily ionised water breaks down dirt from most surfaces including glass, stainless steel, wood, carpet, natural stone, marble, even clothing.
