Success for charity golf day August 1st 2011 Nilfisk has demonstrated its
'closer to market' strategy with a
corporate golf day at the Forest
of Arden golf and country club in
Coventry.
Proceeds from the day went to
St.Nicholas Hospice Care, a
charity dedicated to caring for
the terminally ill and their
families in the Eastern region.
Ten teams of golfers competed
for a range of titles on an 18 hole
course.Customers attending
came from all sectors; cleaning
contractors, industrial, municipal
and distribution.
General manager, Stewart
Dennett, commented:"Our closer
to market strategy is very
important to us. In order for us to
adapt our products and services
we need to be closer to key
customers, to understand their
issues and their market place.
This event is the first of many
intended to allow us to do just
that.The mix of customers
