Beneficial balers
October 1st 2011

JT Atkinson Builders Merchant has installed a GB3 vertical baler, from Greenbank, in each of its five newest branches.

The company, which operates across the north, uses the equipment for compacting all polythene and cardboard waste removed from the operation of breaking bulk products before reselling to the construction industry.

Operations director, Eric Atkinson, explained that this has removed the need for expensive skips in these locations and seriously reduced the amount of waste product going to landfill sites.

"The beauty about dealing with Greenbank is that it is a local independent business which offers a competitive product but most importantly it does what it says it's going to do." Greenbank area account manager,Adrian Saltmarsh, said that it was very pleasing to learn that Greenbank's service has been so effective for the company.
