Saving water simplified
October 1st 2006

Despite the rain, pressure continues from government and water companies for people to conserve water.Yet most attention has been focussed on domestic users when it's commercial users who can make a much greater difference, says PHS Washrooms

Answering the call to help business owners and building managers to 'do their bit', PHS Washrooms is packaging a range of products that, when used in combination, will help customers save water, save time and save money.

The announcement builds on the success of a recent deal which saw two of the products – the PHS Sani-sleeve and Intelligent Water Management System – being installed in all 670 pubs belonging to the Wetherspoon chain, thus generating substantial saving for the hospitality giant each year on water bills and cleaning chemicals.

The four-product range, badged as the PHS Water Saver Range, also includes Adapta Tap – a push-button tap converter which eliminates wasted water from running or dripping taps – and Save-a-flush – a simple device placed into toilet cisterns that reduce water usage by at least one litre for every flush.

Products from the range, including Adapta-tap,Water Management System and Save-a-flush are already helping two of the UK's leading supermarket chains, Sainsbury's and Tesco, to save water and reduce bills on a huge scale.

Ian Osborne, managing director of PHS Washrooms, said:"PHS has built its reputation around providing excellent customer service to support our innovative and effective products. By bringing together the four products under the Water Saver Range banner,we are demonstrating our commitment to customer service. By using these products in combination of two or more, they become self funding because of the savings on water bills and, in the case of the Sani-sleeve, the virtual elimination of the need to use heavy duty cleaning chemicals.

"As business users come to terms with the need to conserve water in order to reduce the effect of spiralling water bills, PHS will continue to work with our clients to help them keep their costs down while ensuring their customers and staff continue to benefit from clean and fresh washroom environments."For further information on the Sani-Sleeve, see the article below.
