Although cases of Swine Flu have peaked for the moment, Sir Liam Donaldson, chief medical officer for England warns that between 30 to 35% of people could come down with the virus this winter and the disease is also likely to strike again in the years that follow. Pandemics can re-occur after three, four or five years.

Nilco has developed two products formulated to help protect against infection by sanitising work surfaces and hands. It is recognised that Swine Flu is spread by airborne particles expelled by coughs or sneezes, which can be inhaled or picked up by hands from hard surfaces and transmitted to the nose or mouth. Swine Flu can survive on hard surfaces for up to 24 hours after contamination so it is essential to be conscious of personal hygiene practices in order to help protect against germs, bacteria and viruses.

Nilco Antibacterial Handsoap and Nilco Antibacterial Cleaner and Sanitiser is proven to effectively destroy the most common germs and bacteria, including: E.Coli, MRSA, C.Difficile, Listeria and Salmonella, reducing the chance of infection.

Nilco products aim to be the first line of defence against the Swine Flu virus.

Nilco Antibacterial Cleaner and Sanitiser retails around £3.99 for a one litre bottle while the 5L Antibacterial Handwash costs around £9.99.

More information is available at www.nilcouk.com where Technical and Product Information sheets are available for all Nilco products.
