After 3 years of development UTC are now in a position to market the Kompatto towel cabinet. Born from an idea by UTCs Tony Filer and in conjunction with Marplast of italy, the Kompatto range is now being marketed in the UK, Europe and the USA. There, are three models A manual cabinet with automatic rewind; Also, a cabinet with a fully retractable facility allowing the user to pull out a clean section of towel with the soiled towel being automatically rewound back into the cabinet after use keeping the soiled towel away from the clean area; and finally an electronic version operated by a photo-electric cell. By passing the hand across or in front of the photo-electric cell, this allows a portion of clean towel to automatically unwind then retract after use. Visually attractive, each dispenser has lockable covers and is fully adjustable for all towel widths. Made from ABS plastic for resistance to damage and easy cleaning.

The cabinets will appeal to all sections of industry, especially the food and health sectors where cleanliness and hygiene are of paramount importance; and service laundries will benefit from their durability and ease of maintenance.

Also from Marplast, UTC can offer a range of paper towel roll dispensers; the standard lever operated version; the Easycut with automatic cut facility; and the Bobinotto, a smaller version with removable fixing-plate which can be removed from the wall to be used wherever paper is needed. All these products conform to HAPPC standards.

Other new products available from the Marplast range include soap dispensers incorporating the recently launched 'Soap Bag' and Foam Systems and Mini-Jumbo toilet tissue dispensers.

Recently, in the janitorial field, UTC have announced the launch of a complete range of washroom products. The Bobson NU-Tech range includes Aerosol Dispensers, Soap Dispensers, Urinal Sanitisers and a whole range of paper product dispensers.

There are six models in the NU-Tech Aerosol Dispenser range offering a complete, choice of size and style. Most models are available in three variations- the A automatic model with Easy Five ease of programming and designed with the service industry in mind giving greater control over service intervals and product dispensing; the S model is operated by a light sensor with four time settings giving daytime or night time operation; and the M model which gives full information on metered dosing, battery and container life.

The NU-Tech electronic Urinal Sanitiser also offers the Easy-Five control mechanism and gives the service industry tighter control over service intervals and product dispensing.

UTC are also supplying a variation of the popular SD200 Soap Dispenser with either boxed soap or bulk fill option in the NU-Tech style, Competitively priced, this product is expected to be even more successful than the original.
