Scotland’s national stadium has just equipped its washrooms with upmarket Tork Aluminium dispensers.This means that the flagship stadiums of both England and Scotland now use Tork systems in their washrooms.Tork Aluminium dispensers for interfold hand towels and liquid soap have been installed in the corporate areas of Glasgow’s Hampden Stadium.
“The Tork Aluminium dispensers blended well with the profile of the Stadium,”said Hampden’s safety and operations manager John Dale.“We’ve been open for nine years now and as a UEFA 5-star stadium will continue to look for ways of presenting our best image.”
Tork Aluminium dispensers for Tork Premium interfold hand towels and Tork Premium mild liquid soap have been installed in the stadium’s VIP washrooms and in the Scottish Football Museum, which forms part of the Hampden complex. Museum exhibits include the Scottish Cup Trophy, the oldest football ticket in the world and Kenny Dalglish's 100th cap.
Meanwhile,Tork ABS plastic dispensers for Tork interfold hand towels and Tork Premium liquid soap, and white metal dispensers for Tork folded toilet paper have been installed in all other washrooms at the stadium.
“The total contract involved the installation of around 300 dispensers with Tork refills,” said SCA Tissue Europe account manager John Boyack.“We’re delighted to have won such a prestigious account.”
Hampden hosts some of Scotland’s major football matches including the FIFA 2010 World Cup qualifiers this autumn. International rock stars also play regularly at the stadium.
Last year Tork won a major coup by securing the washroom tissue business at the new Wembley Stadium.Wembley has 2,618 toilets, estimated to be more than in any other building in the world.
