Shaping up
April 1st 2007

The latest in vending machine technology was showcased at this year's Cleaning Show by Locwil.

The Shape was designed after six months of intensive development and research, the specification requesting that the new model could work across different vending sectors and have a wide ranging appeal for different products.

The design's impact is said to be amplified in original settings where more than one machine can be sited. In research tests, a line-up of three machines was found to give the most striking effect.

"We saw that there was an opportunity to do something very different," commented Stewart Wilson-Bett from Locwil,"there was scope for a machine that had engineered reliability, combined with a fashionable appearance.

"We believe The Shape has curves, charisma and performance."
