10 seconds to blast off
June 1st 2008

Vectair's new automatic Blast hand dryer simultaneously blows water off hands and evaporates residual moisture, completely drying hands in approximately 10 seconds.

Vectair says the dryer uses 1/6th of the energy used by conventional hand dryers, making the Blast environmentally friendly. The company says costs are up to 95 per cent less than paper towels and running costs are 80 per cent less than a conventional warm air dryer.

The dryer is durable and vandal resistant with a long lasting cast iron cover. At 11 inches/27.5cm high,Vectair claims the Blast is currently the smallest high velocity, multivoltage, hand dryer on the market. It says the Blast uses half the wattage, and has up to three times more air velocity, than traditional or comparable warm air dryers.
