Time for a name change

Services has formally
changed its company
name to Albany
Hygiene Facilities,
with immediate effect.MD Mike
Burton emphasises that this is a
change of name only.
"It is the same company, with
the same ownership, partners
and services," he says."The name
has changed because Albany
now offers so much more than
just washroom services."
Albany has grown to offer
additional services such as
hygiene audits, infection control
and hygiene training, remedying
sick building syndrome and
clinical waste management.
"Albany is also involved in
research into the control of
infection," says Burton."The
Department of Health has
recently approved part funding
of a Knowledge Transfer
Partnership 'For the Health of the
Nation', between Queen Mary,
University of London and Albany.
It will research the methodology
required to break the chain of
infection in schools."Anyone
concerned about the name
