Touch-free soapy solution
June 1st 2007 A new wall-mounted foam hand wash system that automatically dispenses soap without the user ever having to come into contact with the dispenser, has been launched by Technical Concepts
The system is the latest in the company's Touch-Free range
for away-from-home washrooms.Touch-free controlled
dosing means that with the AutoFoam Wash System, only
the correct amount of soap gets used each time and the large
capacity refill (a 1100ml bag) provides 2,750 doses of soap,
sufficient for an equal number of hand washes.
According to the customer insight research undertaken by
Technical Concepts in 2006, soap systems that are high capacity,
provide controlled usage and encourage healthy hand washing,
are a key requirement for providers of washroom facilities.
The enriched foam formula is highly concentrated and
produces a thick, dense foaming lather that cleans hands while
being gentle on the skin.
The wall-mounted dispenser is available in a choice of colour
combinations to match individual washroom design and décor. It
features a yellow LED light, which blinks when the battery life is
low.The dispenser is powered by 4 "C"cell alkaline batteries which
last for up to 120,000 hand washes or three years.The unit also
displays a blinking red LED light to indicate when the refill is low
and needs changing. In line with the company's policy on
environmental awareness, packaging has been kept to a
minimum.The refill bag is boxless
