Personalised hygienic sensation
February 1st 2011

Soft Care Sensations from Diversey is a new wall-mounted guest amenity system for hotels.

Customers can choose any colour of cover and add their own corporate branding and messaging to create a design for the individual hotel or group.

The design allows one-handed operation and a consistent amount of product is dispensed by pushing or squeezing the cartridge. This helps to save up to 15kg of product a year in each room, based on 60% occupancy, when compared to using separate soap, shampoo and shower gel.

The product is supplied in 250ml cartridges, reducing the overall amount of packaging and helping to further sustainability.

Based on 60% occupancy this can save up to 4kg of plastic and 1kg of cardboard waste for each room every year.

The basic wall-mounting unit comprises a metallic bracket and hinging white cartridge that has been designed to match existing bathroom fittings and accessories and can be screwed or glued to the wall.

The personalised cover slides into place over the cartridge.

The unit's theftproof system is said to prevent guests from removing the bottle but allows staff to change cartridges.A mini-lamp integral to the locking key allows staff to see the amount of product remaining when held at the rear of the cartridge so that light shines through.
