The latest Wash-Down station from Blue Diamond is completely self-contained.The company says it's handy for keeping industrial and agricultural plant clean at temporary or remote locations

Once filled with water, the unit requires only a 110-volt electricity supply (which can be provided by a portable generator), to provide a powerful and environmentally friendly way to clean all types of plant and equipment.The BioZyme Wash-Down station is ideal for jet-wash cleaning roadside equipment, cultivators, cement mixers and all types of industrial machinery. In fact anything that will fit on the 2.7 metre square platform that weighs up to 5000Kgs.

Designed for quick assembly, the BioZyme Wash-Down station can be easily dismantled and moved to a different site when a project is complete.This makes it particularly suitable for cleaning plant used by traffic management and road works contractors or companies involved in construction projects.

The unit comprises a galvanised wash platform, heavy-duty PVC splash curtains,water tank/circulation pump and electrical system.

The pump circulates water through the highly efficient filtration unit, which complies with the latest European oil interceptor standard EN858.Comprising a series of weirs and an oil separator, the solid deposits are collected in the sump while oil and hydrocarbon waste is trapped for disposal through the correct channels.

Optional treatment packs are available to condition the water, keeping it free of odours and micro-organisms.The only maintenance that is required is an occasional top up of water to replace any lost through evaporation.

The introduction of the self-contained unit extends all the benefits of an efficient cleaning system to virtually any location.
