High tech and highly robust dispensers
October 1st 2010 When £10 million was spent
building York High School, which
opened 18 months ago, it was
decided to install automatic
Smart roll towel dispensers from
Connect Hygiene Products in all
pupil and staff loos, faculty rooms
and kitchens.Touchless,
aesthetically pleasing, ultra
hygienic and using 100%
recyclable tissue are just some of
the benefits York High School has
derived from switching over to
the battery operated dispensers.
The major factor has been a
30% cost saving, primarily
because there is now less waste,
and less vandalism.
"The dispensers are robust and
stand up to most vandalism
attempts," says Steve Sampson,
senior site manager,"and because
they are timed to offer just one
sheet at a time pupils tend to
give up. So we don't have
occasions like in the old school
where pupils would take a pile of
towels at a go and leave them
strewn all over the place."
Hands free dispensing is also
hygienic with very little cross
