Window Cleaning - 'Keeping it Safe'
January 1st 2006

Window cleaning is hard, physical work says Dave Rogers, general manager Unger UK. That's why ergonomically designed tools are so important. Those who manage the cleaning of windows must look for tools that are designed to lessen fatigue and reduce wear and tear on the body. The best tools should help the window cleaner work safely, more efficiently, comfortably and with greater speed. A well designed belt system such as Unger's new and improved ErgoTec BeltSystem is designed exclusively for carrying accessory pouches and tools, making life easier for window cleaning and work on ladders.

Featuring a comfortable padded belt made of heavy-duty nylon, this highly versatile belt allows the user to add or remove a range of accessories without opening the belt, made of sturdy Velcro fasteners with a quick release closure system.

The ErgoTec Straps help carry extra weight and prevent back injury with straps which attach securely to the belt using metal spring clips.

The other feature is the Bucket on a Belt, which is designed for carrying essential tools such as the squeegee, washer and scraper, which is secured to the ErgoTec Belt.

The ErgoTec Belt is available with a wide range of accessories: Options include a waterproof pouch, designed to hold cleaning cloths and to separate dry and wet items, a PersonalBag, designed to store items such as pens, mobile phones and keys, and the ScraperHolder, which is ideal for carrying Unger's ErgoTec Scraper. Other items include the Bottleholder, for carrying cleaning fluid or drinking water, the CanCooler, an insulated pouch to keep drinks cool, and the DoubleHolster, a double looped tool holder, ideal for storing tools such as squeegees.
