WASPS: the latest buzz word

The standard method of chemical hazard communications has been the safety data sheet (SDS) and labelling information found on product containers. Environmental Science (ESL) offers an alternative.

WASPS (Workplace Activity Safety Protection Summary) sheets communicate key information from the SDS in an easy to understand form. Two levels are provided: Wasps/Tech and Wasps/Op. The latter is a largely graphic summary that provides operational staff with simple reminders of potential substance dangers and includes first aid actions or procedures.
