Teaching essential skills April 1st 2004 Surrey cleaning businesses can now take advantage of essential skills training resource packages specifically tailored to the needs of their sector.
The new teaching materials have been field tested across the county by the Surrey Flagship team which delivers fully-funded training to employees at a time and place to suit them.
Research reveals that refresher courses in essential skills can increase the quality of employee performance by 84% and business profitability by 56%.
The company is optimistic that its training materials will benefit businesses across the UK.
Modules tailored to the cleaning sector include reporting on work tasks successfully completed and explaining why some tasks have been left unresolved, as well as situations surrounding lost property. Each sector package offers material for inclusion in the initial 23h training course where appropriate.
Project manager, Bridget Newbould, says Flexibility is essential in this field to accommodate the changing nature of the workplace and the level of skills each employee brings to their training session. |
