Swisher goes public August 1st 2005 Swisher, one of the UK’s top management franchise, provides a weekly washroom sanitation service and products to commercial and public sector buildings. Although it has thousands of customers and services over 1.75M fixtures per annum, it has previously not serviced public loos.
But David Questa, Swisher York’s franchisee has recently signed up Hambleton District Council’s Easingwold Public Toilets to take the weekly Swisher service, which includes free air freshener and handsoap. Hambleton District Council recognised the need to provide safe and sanitised public loos.
David is pleased to be a trend setter within Swisher, and anticipates that others within the 63 strong network will, in the near future, also be providing the Swisher service and products to other local authority public loos.
Customers taking the Swisher service include restaurants, fast food outlets, pubs, clubs, holiday parks, leisure centres, nursing homes, nursery schools, shops, offices, factories as well as golf clubs, hotels, football clubs, etc. Blue chip customers include Bookers, Bourne Leisure, Burger King, Costco, Esso, Frankie & Bennies, Greene King Pub Co., Hertz UK Ltd, KFC, Landmark Support Services, MacDonald’s, Mecca Bingo, Notcutts Garden Centres, Odeon Cinemas, Pizza Hut, RBoS, Shell, Spirit Group, W H Smith and Wimpy – to name but a few.
