Training gives clients peace of mind
August 1st 2010

In Depth Managed Services has taken advantage of government funded window cleaning training that results in a recognised City and Guilds NVQ 2 qualification.

The course is delivered by South Thames College and IMPACT Group Training who have formed a partnership.

Window cleaning is rated as one of the most dangerous ways of making a living. As a reaction to this risk, demand for training in the sector is growing, with specialist areas such as high level window cleaning and working at height.

Darren Shingler, In Depth windows and industrial division contract manager, was one of the first to take advantage of the scheme. He worked with the partnership to deliver training to In Depth's window cleaning team tailored to meet its specific requirements.

"In Depth is on a mission to improve window cleaning," says Sandra Ogden, In Depth MD."This qualification provides tangible proof of competency and gives clients total assurance."
