European own brand addition June 20th 2011 Nationwide Hygiene Supplies is adding a new European own brand range of products to its existing quality own brand products.
Starting in June customers will see the introduction of the Clean and Clever range of products, which are part of the INPACS International brand range and currently sold in 16 European countries.
David Scholes CEO of Nationwide said: "It is a natural development of our growing International focus as a major shareholder of INPACS GmbH, Europe’s largest distributor group of Hygiene and Janitorial businesses. The Clean and Clever brand name will allow all of our Group companies to promote a single trans-European brand.”
Four major companies have joined Nationwide in 2011 giving the UK operations further added strength and an even wider delivery network throughout the UK and Ireland. The additional key companies are: Martin Services (Industrial), Dublin & Cork; Thamesmead Business Services, London; Shorrock Trichem, Manchester; and Unico, Falkirk, Scotland.
Within Nationwide's INPACS Joint Venture Company the company has also seen further new additions, Vario Clean in Greece and Betta Service in the Ukraine, bringing the total number of countries serviced by INPACS to 31.
Since moving the head office to Chesterfield, the UK business has grown from strength to strength. The group turnover in 2010 was £136 million with 158 field sales people serving their 70,000 customers needs supported by a fleet of 198 vehicles.
