Nationwide Hygiene Supplies enjoyed its 25th anniversary meeting of UK partners at the Real Palacio Hotel in the centre of Lisbon last month.

Nationwide is an integral part and a co-founder of the joint venture company, INPACS GmbH (International Partners for Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies), one of the largest European wholesalers and service groups. All the partners groups are also investors in the business, so are committed financially to the success of INPACS.

The event was sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Professional. Nationwide’s chief executive, David Scholes, told the UK delegates that 2011 had seen many more companies looking to reduce their costs of cleaning and hygiene supplies so were turning to Nationwide. In welcoming the three new partners, who joined this year to their first company conference meeting, he said that with 39 branches now throughout the UK and Ireland the company was ideally placed for the challenges of the future. He told the audience that INPACS had given the group the benefits of best prices, quality control, and own brand development that was unsurpassed.

The highlight of the three day event was a gala dinner held at the Restaurant Cozinha Velha in the 18th century Palace of Queluz.
