Clever extension to Europe July 19th 2011 Nationwide Hygiene Supplies has launched a new European wide product brand called Clean and Clever.
David Scholes CEO of Nationwide said: “It is a natural extension of the UK groups international reach since becoming founder shareholders, in 2004 of INPACS GmbH, one of Europe’s largest cleaning and hygiene distributor groups.
"At INPACS the philosophy is ‘Think Global, Act Local’ and led naturally to a decision as a group to offer both locally and to our international customers a single unified brand name available throughout the group network. This new specific brand will either stand alongside or replace the range of local brands developed by most of the group companies over the years.
"Nationwide, with its multi-board positions in INPACS, has been one of the key drivers in the development of this new range of European wide products aimed specifically at quality. This new brand range allows all of the Nationwide companies to promote and enhance the high quality of own label products while continuing to maintain a highly competitive pricing policy."
The first products to be branded Clean & Clever in the UK are in the paper tissue range and Nationwide has issued a 6 page guide to reflect the thinking behind the new image as well as to provide a guide to the new packaging designs.
