Cleaning conference finalises sponsorship partners and speakers
June 30th 2010

The British Cleaning Council has now finalised the speaker line-up and sponsorship partnerships for the Cleaning Conference, which takes place on October 5th 2010.

New additions to the sponsorship partnership team are Activeion and Nilfisk-Alto, who join ISS, Selden Research, Asset Skills, Diversey and the British Toilet Association (who will have a exhibition stand on the day of the event). The array of marquee brands have helped sustain anticipation for the highlight of the cleaning industry’s calendar this autumn.

The hosts of the seminars lined-up for the day has also been finalised, alongside the previously announced top-level speakers from across the business world, we are also pleased to announce that Michael Portillo has confirmed his appearance. Mr. Portillo, who has been prominent media figure during the honeymoon period of the coalition government and their emergency budget outlined by the Treasury on 22nd June, will be reflecting exclusively on his experiences from his political career, as well as offering his advice on how businesses can best work with the new government as they navigate the choppy economic waters on the horizon.

Also speaking at the event will be: Chris Cracknell of OCS and Asset Skills on the value of training during the economic recovery; Pedro Chidichimo of Johnson Diversy on building long term sustainability in the cleaning sector; Jimmy Hayes of ISS London, who will be speaking on encouraging young people to view cleaning as a career; and David Lunt, who will be talking about the newly launched Personal Accounts Delivery Authority.

Tickets for the event are likely to sell-out early summer, and remain available for online purchase from the British Cleaning Council website. Click here for www.britishcleaningcouncil.org/cleaningconference.html
