Twist and sparkle
September 7th 2010 Nilfisk has launched a diamond cleaning system in the form of Twister pads.
The environmentally friendly floor cleaning system is being distributed globally by the Nilfisk group in co-operation with HTC Sweden.
The Twister pads are impregnated with microscopic diamonds and mechanically treat and maintain floors using just water. No cleaning agents, chemicals or periodic maintenance is required.
A range of pads are now available to suit all Nilfisk Scrubber Dryers. The density and hardness of the diamond content relate to the level of abrasion and gloss finish.
Suitable floors include Terrazzo, marble, granite, limestone, ceramic, polished concrete, epoxy and vinyl.
The revolutionary system is capable of removing scratches, stains, oil and tyre marks. Floors thought worthy only of replacement can be restored and maintained on an ongoing basis.
Such an example can be seen in the Nautisport Sports Facility that included one 15 year old tennis court with marked deterioration. Severe marks had been left by heavy use of chemicals and a replacement was planned with an expected spend of £120,000.
A Nilfisk BR755 EcoflexTM Scrubber Dryer was used with 14” yellow and green Twister pads. After only 4 passes and no application of chemical the surface was left shiny and pristine. (see before and after photos supplied).
None of the marking lines were removed, the restoration proved fast and effective with minimal court time lost.
