Nilfisk launches low cost, high performing tub vacuum
October 29th 2009 Nilfisk has launched a low cost, high performing tub vacuum aimed at the volume sector. The GD111 is compact and lightweight, weighing 5.2kg, up to 25% less than its closest competitor, says the company. The 10 litre container has a net fill of 8 litres, which is claimed to be double that of competitors.
Steel tubes, a 10m power cord, combination, crevice and brush nozzles complete the assembly. The accessories store neatly at the back of the machine , which can be carried in one hand. For commercial environments where day time cleaning continues to increase, the GD111 has a low sound level of only 69 dB(A).
A protective rubber body bumper reduces any potential damage to both furniture and the machine. Additionally a heavy duty on/off switch has been designed for continuous foot operation. The machine also features a threshold bumper designed to take the initial impact when the machine is moved over low thresholds from room to room. The GD111 has a funnel shaped cord entrance that removes sharp bends in the power cable and improves reliability. A single secure locking mechanism features an intuitive top cover locator for easy use. The power cord can be stored either on the rear hook or beneath the carrying handle. A convenient tube parking position allows the hose to be neatly parked and aids storage.
Customers often have stocks of competitor bags and hoses that they need to use up.
