Nationwide dedicated to a sustainable future
December 16th 2009

Nationwide Hygiene Supplies, the independent distribution group of cleaning and hygiene products, has issued a new brochure ‘Sustainable & Environmental Products’.

The brochure is aimed at providing solutions that preserve the world’s natural resources and reduce emissions to minimise pollution. The products featured are selected to reduce these impacts. All the products are marked with the sustainable environmental logo indicating they conform to the main authority standards.

"Nationwide values the impact that our service has on the environment and economy," says David Scholes, CEO of Nationwide. "We accept our responsibility for maintaining and improving on sustainability within our group. Working closely with the world’s leading manufacturers including Kimberly-Clark, SCA, JohnsonDiversey, Proctor & Gamble, Kruger and Selden Research we have driven and shared a number of innovative projects aimed at providing sustainable solutions to our customers."

"Nationwide are totally committed to a culture of sustainability. We are continually in the process of adapting our business management systems to ensure they have a positive impact on the environment," Scholes continues. "We always need to understand the consequences of different management approaches and demonstrate an ability to balance the needs of business and the environment."
