The Sun shines on Future Supplies
May 26th 2009

The Sun newspaper is on the hunt for Britain’s Best Local Businesses, and cleaning firm Future Supplies And Support Services has been nominated. The Croydon based company sells washroom and cleaning products to companies around the UK. It employs 12 staff and has been going for 14 years.

MD Mandie Kemp is quoted in The Sun as saying, “I am thrilled to have been nominated and it has been a fantastic motivator for all the team. We’re not in the most glamorous industry – but toilet rolls are an essential part of life."

Kemp gives work placements to homeless and jobless youngsters, and also provides green business advice.

The Sun competition is still open and you can nominate any small firm you think deserves recognition until June 6. The winner will get £20,000 plus a three-year business banking and support package. Also included is a free mentoring session with Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis and web search engine Google.
