Permanent access for window cleaning

Providing full permanent access for window cleaning, routine inspection or testing and maintenance works is not always possible. An alternative method of access is to provide a less intrusive track system for suspending personnel (using industrial rope access techniques) or cleaning cradles.

On buildings with the need to access façades, large curtain walled/glazed area or non load bearing panels, the installation of a Safetrack ABSEIL system enables operatives to traverse quickly and efficiently between work places without the need for multiple rigging and de-rigging.

Unlike standard abseil rails, which require users to shuffle between supports and then transfer past them, our track systems operate with free running trolleys providing the ease of movement so necessary for working in these extreme conditions. Tracks can be installed as either soffit or face mount and in both cases the main supporting structure can be fixed back and concealed within the building structure.

All our rope access anchorage systems are designed to withstand a 15kN load in accordance with BS EN 7985. All our tracks are also certified for fall arrest EN 795 Class D.
