Nationwide well prepared
August 25th 2009 Nationwide Hygiene Supplies, one of the UK’s largest independent distribution groups of cleaning and hygiene supplies, is well prepared for a possible swine flu outbreak, according to chief executive David Scholes.
“As a global group of cleaning and hygiene suppliers we have a great deal of knowledge on the subject of swine flu," says Scholes. "We urge companies to take a look at the possible repercussions of an outbreak in business and the health of their employees. We have produced are own label Anti-Cross Contamination Pack containing useful items together with the latest Health Protection Agency advice.”
The Nationwide pack contains a neat anti-bacterial spray – that looks like a felt marker pen and can easily be carried in a pocket or handbag, a pack of 10 tissues, and a pack of 10 sanitising wipes. Nationwide says the packs are a result of many of Britain’s leading companies requesting them.
“We have worked in partnership with our paper, chemical and equipment suppliers to ensure that we are able to provide the most effective and affordable options for helping prevent infection spreading,” explains Scholes. Nationwide offers an extensive range of anti-bacterial soaps, hand sanitisers and hard surface cleaning products which can greatly help with securing effective infection control in the workplace.
