New Product Week at the KÄRCHER Academy
October 31st 2008 Over 200 customers attended KÄRCHER’s New Product Week, held recently at the company’s new Academy in Banbury, Oxfordshire. With fourteen brand new products and the Academy’s training, demonstration and conference facilities on display there was something to impress every visitor. KÄRCHER dealers could see, touch and test the company’s most innovative products to date, including hot water pressure washers and small area scrubber driers.
KÄRCHER says the main attraction for many dealers was the new HDS range. Carrying on the tradition of robust, reliable, high performance hot water pressure washers KÄRCHER is renowned for, the new HDS range offers better performance, economy, and reliability than before, with true innovations like the ECO high efficiency mode – offering 20% fuel savings over previous models, on-board diagnostics, and a machine protector chemical system with three-year coil warranty.
Two exciting new scrubber driers were also unveiled. The versatile BR 40/10 C replaces the popular BR 400, improving on the performance, ease of use, and serviceability of the outgoing machine to raise the bar for small scrubber driers, while the revolutionary, lightweight BR 30/4 C offers full function scrubbing and drying – including wet-laying – in a package as small and easy to use as an upright vacuum cleaner.
