Vent-Axia has launched a new super-fast hand dryer for public washroom applications.

Delivering powerful and quick drying, Vent-Axia says the Tempest is an efficient, convenient and cost effective alternative to conventional hand dryers and paper towels.

The unit’s blue LED provides a visible indication of the drying zone, ensuring that the user’s hands are always in the warm air stream - and completely dry in 10-12 seconds. This feature also helps maximise the unit’s energy efficiency, with tests showing that it uses up to 70% less energy than ordinary hand dryers.

White, polished stainless steel and satin stainless steel model options suit any washroom design. Easy to install and maintain, each product has a range of additional features making them suitable for almost any application. The heater elements can be adjusted between the range of 450 and 900 W, enabling the unit to be set to meet user preferences and making it suitable for heavy duty applications such as public lavatories, schools and construction sites.
