Save half a million in the loo November 26th 2008 Enviro-Fresh's eco-clear solution is predicted to save £500,000 at a large, multi-site customer. The firm says even a single washroom can save 300,000litres of water per year. With water bills set to rise by £450million following an Environment Agency review, it's an attractive proposition for facilities managers.
It's a compelling case: save water; reduce chemical use; prevent blockages; neutralise odours; save money and lessen environmental impact. And its benefits are such that a number of other firms are now making similar claims for their washroom solutions. However, alongside product efficacy, Enviro-Fresh MD, Mark Gilespie, says its proposition stands out from the pack because all urinal sleeves are recycled when they are changed every three months.
"It's certainly something a number of our competitors don't do," says Gillespie. "Alongside environmental benefits in that sense, our system gives customers a fast payback against their water utility bills, and an environmentally-sound washroom solution that maintains a hassle-free urinal system. Hopefully customers see it as a win-win situation."
