A Brightwell kitchen is not hell's kitchen...
April 30th 2008

There are seemingly innumerable suppliers of cleaning and hygiene products for use in commercial kitchens, but many of them would be lost without the aid of the equipment to dispense them. Of all the suppliers of dispensing equipment for this sector of the market, Brightwell claims no company is better placed to offer the broadest range than itself.

The 60-year-old independent family company includes amongst its product range: soap and paper dispensers, wet wipe dispensers, and concentrate chemical dispensers, as well as a full assortment of electronic dosing equipment.

Brightwell’s current comprehensive soap and paper range began with the innovative Modular Soap Dispenser, capable of dispensing conventional liquid soap, foam soap and spray soap, from an attractive universal enclosure. Whether customers are looking for refillable reservoirs, or disposable pouches, the firm claims this product has it all, and has become one of the best established soap dispensers on the market. Soon after it launch, a complementary range of paper dispensers was added, including those for paper hand towels and centre feed rolls, as well as dispensers for the washroom.

Amongst the latest products is the innovative dispensing system for hand and surface sanitising wet wipes, again in the Modular style. This product prevents pilferage and waste, as well as raising the bar where professionalism is concerned. No more buckets or tubs lying around, looking unsightly, getting dirty, getting lost; instead Brightwell offers an attractive wall-mounted unit, holding up to 200 wipes, just where you need them, whenever you need them. The dispenser has a spring-loaded lid, preserving the integrity and moisture of the contents; importantly, without it the pouches and their contents are useless once opened, so the temptation to use them outside of the designated work area is removed.

As well as all of these products, Brightwell Dispensers offers the means to dispense detergents and sanitisers, through its SuperC units, a range of products designed for the safe dosing of manually used chemical concentrates into spray bottles, buckets and sinks. Each variant offers a secure lockable cabinet for a 2 litre concentrate bottle or a 1.5 litre pouch, and incorporates a time delay between dispenses. Following on the back of this the company introduced the more compact and versatile Smart Pump, also offering a measured dose for the same three applications.

Rounding off the company’s specialist range of equipment is a full complement of auto-dosing units, beginning with the MicroPlus, a low-cost single product pump for glass washers and the like. Moving up the scale, the company offers the PowerPlus II, with its patented double pump head for dispensing both detergent and rinse aid. For more features there is the BSD1, offering the same utility as the PowerPlus, but with the additional facility of access code and usage reporting. Top of the dishwashing range is the BSD2, for conveyor type dishwashers. All in all, Brightwell Dispensers offers a truly one-stop shop.
