Nationwide Hygiene moves on up
November 30th 2007 After 15 years near Hampton Court in Surrey, Nationwide Hygiene Supplieshas moved its £100 million plus distribution business head office to Chesterfield in Derbyshire.
The expanding group is now based in the centre of rural Britain, on the edge of the beautiful Peak District. The company says the new premises represent an exciting time in its 21 year history. As a result of rapid growth in sales the business recognized that larger premises were required.
The new premises includes a centralised meeting, training and conference facility, easier travel links and an enhanced environment for people to work in.
Chief executive, David Scholes who has led the office move to Chesterfield said “We had to make certain everything was in place to run parallel at both locations prior to the final move. A smooth transition was the main criteria so that our sophisticated electronic ordering system continued uninterrupted. Meeting our customer needs for top quality service with competitive pricing is the key to our success. We are perfectly placed now to continue the high standards we have set ourselves. I am looking forward to welcoming both our customers and suppliers to our new home.”
