Fixed vacuums on film
May 30th 2007

Companies considering a fixed vacuum cleaning solution can see a range of systems in action on a new free DVD from Nilfisk-Advance.

The DVD shows centralised dust extraction systems being used in a variety of customer facilities, from bakeries and glass processing plants to timber mills and printing works. In the face of increasingly stringent health and safety legislation, including the latest ATEX directives, keeping manufacturing operations clean and dust-free has never been more critical.

Nilfisk's new DVD covers every aspect of a centralised system, from the fixed suction unit to the pneumatic tube system, inlet points and filter options.Operatives can be seen collecting dust and debris from factory floors and machinery using the nearest hose. The dust is then transported via bespoke pipework to a central hopper for disposal.
