Cleaning Show a massive hit
March 30th 2007

Exhibitors made the most of it, with many reporting on-the-spot sales, qualified leads and vastly improved contact books as a result. CCS Jeweltone's Tony Dillon said the show was "the best I have ever exhibited at".

His comments were echoed by Chemspec Europe's Richard Sudall and new Unger general manager, John Sobucinski. Truvox's Peter Holt said the company secured 45% more qualified sales leads than from the 2005 show, and that "the quantity and quality of visitors this year was excellent".

Cleaning Matters can confirm all of the above. We had a constant stream of visitors to our stand, made some excellent new contacts, put faces to names and made the most of the opportunuity to witness hundreds of excellent products first hand. In all it was an great event – a big thanks to those who made the effort, and the organisers for making it happen.

As well hosting the exhibition and conferences, the show also housed the Innovation Awards. See Brilliance triumphed in the best chemical innovation category, ICE and Premiere FCM jointly won for floor cleaning machines, and Unger emerged victorious in the hand tools award. Totally Different scooped the washroom products category, and Wasterecycler won the award for other machines.

If you missed it this time around, be sure to attend in 2009. In the meantime, see our round-up in the forthcoming April/May print issue of Cleaning Matters.
